Religious Emblems

The Catholic Committee on Scouting provides religious emblems programs for both boys and girls.  Both programs have their own coordinators.  The programs are age appropriate and require up to six months to complete.  Deadline of December 1st is for Boy Scouts to have work completed in time for Boards of Review.  First Sunday of January (not including New Year's Day) is the deadline for all names to be provided for inclusion in the Awards Ceremony's printed program; as well as the Boards of Review for Boy Scouts earning either the Ad Altare Dei or Pope Pius XII Awards.  The ceremony (no mass) is held on a Sunday, early in February at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis.

For more detailed information about each program, please read from the appropriate pulldown menu page.  A link for ordering awards, for either boys or girls, can be found on under Forms.

Religious Activities

The Catholic Committee on Scouting also provides additional activities where the youth can further expand their knowledge and earn special patches.  For more detailed information about each program, please read from the appropriate pulldown menu page.
